Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and organized Travel Nursing Staffing Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare staffing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for recruiting, credentialing, and placing travel nurses in assignments across the United States. You’ll work closely with both nurses and healthcare facilities to ensure optimal job matches and a smooth onboarding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Source, recruit, and place qualified RNs, LPNs, and allied health professionals in travel assignments nationwide
- Maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities to understand open roles and scheduling needs
- Guide candidates through the application, credentialing, and onboarding process
- Ensure all travel nurses meet licensing, compliance, and facility-specific requirements
- Coordinate travel logistics and assignment start dates
- Track and maintain an active pipeline of candidates for current and future assignments
- Provide ongoing support to travel nurses during assignments, including conflict resolution and contract renewals
- Use ATS and CRM tools to manage candidate information and track placement activity
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare staffing or recruiting (travel nursing experience preferred)
- Familiarity with nurse licensing, compact state regulations, and credentialing requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and manage high-volume pipelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred
